GEF is one among the only 52 organizations selected worldwide to be a part of the 2024-26 cohort of Scratch Education Collaborative (SEC). SEC is run by Scratch Foundation US, with the objective of getting institutions that are working on developing Scratch skills among underprivileged students, to collaborate with each other.
352 organizations from across the globe had applied for the cohort. The selection was based on an application and interview process. Only 2 organizations from India were selected, with GEF being one of them.
