With the successful conclusion of the Scratch Student-trainer Training program, Swastik Vidyalay Secondary School, Priol – Goa, achieved the double distinction of becoming the 1st school from Goa, and the 50th school overall, to benefit under GEF’s Adolescent Development Program (ADP). The program was conducted by Mr.Gopal Kalpathi, Senior GEF Volunteer.

Scratch training is conducted under our Amit Khare Training for Indian Villages (AKTIV) initiative, for improving critical, creative, and computational thinking, and teaming among students by using Scratch and other mediums as tools. AKTIV is a part of our Adolescent Development Program (ADP), which aims at enabling schools, especially those catering to underprivileged children, to provide holistic education spanning physical literacy, psychological strength, intellectual prowess, life skills, and entrepreneurial thinking.
Thanks to Shri Shirishkumar Amshekar, Principal and Mrs.Prabhati Desai, Computer Teach and the entire management of Swastik Vidyalay for their wholehearted support.
